Born at our own kitchen table

Your whole family at a glance.

Familyboard is the weekly planner that hangs on the wall or sits on a tablet on your kitchen counter. A tablet you already own is enough, so there’s no need to buy a new screen. Calendars, weather, news and the kids’ chores on one screen, with a daily quiz question as a reward.

NewsToday’s top headlines, short and clear

Everything your family needs each week

The basic plan includes everything to get started straight away. Connect your calendars, choose the chores and switch on the screen.

Weekly planner

See what’s on for each day and each child: sports, lessons, appointments, and who does the drop-off and pick-up.

Two calendars connected

Connect, for example, your iCloud calendar and your Google calendar. Appointments appear on the board automatically.

Hourly weather

Temperature and chance of rain per hour for your town, so everyone knows whether to take a raincoat.

News feed

The day’s top headlines, shown calmly at the bottom of the screen.

10 custom kids’ chores

You choose ten chores that suit your home. Familyboard shares them out fairly among the kids, every day.

Quiz question as a reward

Once a child has done all their chores, they can answer the quiz question of the day. Matched to their level, from pictures to chess puzzles.

Chores kids love to tick off

Kids tap the screen themselves when they’ve done something. That turns helping out at home into a game instead of an argument.

Every child has their own colour. Even kids who can’t read yet recognise their chore by its colour, their initial and a picture.
Shared out fairly. Chores rotate daily, so it isn’t always the same child emptying the dishwasher.
A party for every 25th chore. Confetti, fireworks and applause on screen.
The quiz as a reward. While chores are still open, the quiz tile shows how many are left. All done? Then the question unlocks.

One clear plan, extendable with modules

All prices are per month and include VAT. You buy the screen yourself; see which screen you can use.

More sports connections in the works

We’re looking into which other sports associations and club systems we can connect. Is your sport missing? Let us know.

Which screen do you use?

Familyboard runs in the browser, so you don’t need special hardware. A screen is not included in the subscription.

On a tablet

Works on any Apple or Android tablet with an up-to-date browser. Put it in a stand on the counter or hang it on the wall.

Our own example: a portrait touchscreen

At home we use a 21.5-inch touchscreen, mounted upright on the kitchen wall. Big enough to read from a metre away, and the kids tick off their own chores on it.

On your phone too

Parents check the planner on their phones on the go and choose who drops off or picks up which child.

Frequently asked questions

Is a screen included in the subscription?

No. The subscription does not include a screen. You use your own tablet or touchscreen. Any Apple or Android tablet will do.

Which calendars can I connect?

The basic plan lets you connect two calendars, for example an iCloud calendar and a Google calendar.

What are the ten kids’ chores?

You decide. Think of feeding the cat, emptying the dishwasher or unpacking the school bag. Every chore gets a picture, so young kids recognise it too.

How does the quiz question work?

Every child gets a question at their own level every day. It only unlocks once the child has done all their chores for that day. Until then, the tile shows how many chores are left.

What does a module cost?

The voetbal.nl or hockey.nl connection costs an extra €2 per month each. The custom module costs an extra €5 per month. All amounts include VAT.

How do I cancel?

Your subscription runs month by month and you can cancel any time, online in your account or by email. It ends at the end of the current month, and you’ll get a confirmation by email.

Which languages is Familyboard available in?

Dutch, English, German and French.
